The International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC) in partnership with Caribbean Hotel & Resort Investment Summit (CHRIS) presented Julianna Musgrove, Regional Manager – Learning and Development (Northern Caribbean) at Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Villages and Spa, with the prestigious Rising Star Award Caribbean.

Of her award, Julianna remarked, “I am extremely honoured and humbled to have been recognised by the tourism industry’s top leaders across the Caribbean as the recipient of the 2023 Rising Star Award – Caribbean. As a young professional that didn't know exactly what I wanted to do as a career, I chose hospitality because it is the leading industry in the Caribbean. My journey with Sandals allowed me to work in a wide number of departments and train at different levels until I found my passion. Following such an enriching experience, I knew that I wanted to build a career on providing the same opportunities and growth that I have received for up-and-coming professionals within hospitality. I am committed to the continuous mentorship and development of the future generation of hospitality leaders within the Caribbean and will use this award as a testimony that there are meaningful and impactful careers within the hospitality industry that are fulfilling and rewarding. When you love what you do, and you do it with passion and purpose everything else will fall into place.”

“Julianna has been a consistent driving force at Beaches TCI since she joined the team in 2013 as an intern. She began her journey in the housekeeping department and has been a trailblazer ever since. Julianna always had a knack for creativity and made it her mission to always leave her mark in whichever department she trained.” according to James McAnally, General Manager for Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Villages & Spa who nominated Julianna for the award.

ISHC CEO Andrea Belfanti commented, “I was honored to meet Julianna and could not have been more pleased to have her as the recipient of the 2023 Rising Star Award – Caribbean.  Her passion for hospitality and her commitment to her community is inspiring, and I know we will continue to see great things from her. We are thankful for our partnership with CHRIS to recognize young talent in the Caribbean.”

Zink, COO of The BHN Group. “Julianna’s passion for hospitality is inspiring, and she is a dynamic ambassador for the Caribbean, Turks & Caicos, and Sandals Resorts.
