Orient-Express Hotels Ltd. Fourth Quarter 2013 Total Revenue Up 9%

Total revenue was $138.0 million in the fourth quarter of 2013, an increase of $11.5 million or 9% from $126.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2012. Total hotels revenue for the fourth quarter was $113.3 million, an increase of $7.9 million or 7% from $105.4 million in the fourth quarter of 2012 due largely to 9% growth in US dollar same store owned hotels RevPAR. Total trains & cruises revenue in the fourth quarter was $24.7 million, up $3.6 million or 17% from $21.1 million in the fourth quarter of 2012.

Orient-Express Hotels Ltd. (NYSE:OEH) announced that its board of directors has approved a proposal to operate the Company’s collection of luxury hotels and travel experiences under a new brand name, Belmond, effective March 10, 2014.

Orient-Express Hotels Ltd. Third Quarter 2013 Revenues Up 19%

Total revenue was $191.2 million in the third quarter of 2013, up $30.2 million or 19% from $161.0 million in the third quarter of 2012. Revenue from owned hotels for the third quarter was $159.2 million, up $28.2 million or 22% from $131.0 million in the third quarter of 2012 due largely to 20% growth in US dollar same store owned hotels RevPAR. Trains & cruises revenue in the third quarter was $27.2 million, up 5% from $26.0 million in the third quarter of 2012.

Total revenue was $174.3 million in the second quarter of 2013, up $10.5 million or 6% from $163.8 million in the second quarter of 2012. Revenue from owned hotels for the second quarter was $143.0 million, up $12.3 million or 9% from $130.7 million in the second quarter of 2012 due largely to 9% growth in same store owned hotels RevPAR. Trains & cruises revenue in the second quarter was $25.0 million, down 7% from $27.0 million in the second quarter of 2012.
