Chip Rogers Named President & CEO for AHLA

The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) announced yesterday that William 'Chip' Rogers will succeed Katherine Lugar as president and CEO, effective in the new year. Rogers comes to AHLA with more than 20 years of experience and a proven track record of success.

McQuillen is a veteran public affairs and communications official, having worked with Fortune 500 companies on crisis and public affairs issues and previously as a financial journalist, most recently focusing on labor, trade and legal affairs.

Amy Travieso Named Vice President of Government Affairs for the American Hotel & Lodging Association

Travieso comes to AHLA from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she currently serves as the lead Democratic liaison for the Chamber's Technology Engagement Center (C-Tec). Before joining the Chamber, she spent 10 years in the House of Representatives, serving the last six as the deputy chief of staff for Rep. Henry Cuellar (TX-28), who co-chairs the Blue Dog Coalition.
